The Chapter House Set, Trip to Kew Gardens Orchid Festival
Come join us on this Special Day, All Welcome. Adventure together.
Saturday 7th March 2026
Itinerary :
8:30am …… Meet inside St.Mary-at-Finchley Church
9am ……….. Coach leaves from outside the Church (1hr 15min journey approx)
10:15am …. Arrive at The Elizabeth Gate, Kew Gardens. (Drop off & Pick up point)
Freetime till Orchid Festival entry time of 12:15pm.
Enjoy a Coffee in the Orangery (approx 250m from the Elizabeth Gate)
and garden enroute to the Princess of Wales Conservatory.
12:10pm …. Group to meet outside the entrance of the Princess of Wales Conservatory.
The Orchid Festival (Chinese Themed), is in the Princess of Wales
Conservatory. Our group is booked for the 12:15pm time slot.
Afterwards, free time until we meet for the journey home.
16:20pm ….. Meet at The Elizabeth Gate (Coach pick up point).
16:30pm ….. Coach Departure
17:45pm ….. Approximate time of arrival, outside St.Mary-at-Finchley.
Bring packed lunch or find a good place to eat such as The Orangery,
The Victoria Plaza Cafe or place of your choice within Kew Gardens.
– The price includes the cost of entry into Kew Gardens
(which includes the orchid Festival) and the Coach trip.
– Mobility Scooters are available free, but need to be booked in advance (I believe there
are only 6) so please let me know if you need one so that I can book it for you.
– There is a Kew Explorer Land Train, price £5 Adults and £2 for Children (not included)
route begins at the Victoria Plaza, buy tickets from the Explorer Team at the Victoria Gate stop No1.
