Almighty God, by the prayer and discipline of Lent
may we enter into the mystery of Christ’s sufferings,
and by following in his Way
come to share in his glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Study
This year we are offering two courses at St Mary’s one on zoom midweek and one in person on Sunday.
Lent Reflection Series: Treasures in Darkness
This Lent, you are invited to join a zoom reflection series ex-ploring discipleship amid uncertainty, suffering, and mystery. Drawing on disability and suffering theologies, the sessions will reflect on following Christ not despite life’s struggles, but through them, trusting God’s presence and grace in hidden places (Isaiah 45:3).
The Five sessions will be on zoom and will include a diocese produced video of a guest speaker, reflection and contemplative prayer, we will then have a small group discussion together.
All are welcome.
