Mari is a professional artist and has painted all her life. As a commercial artist, she worked in Knightsbridge and created fashion drawings for catalogues such as those produced by Daniel Neal, Derry & Toms and Selfridges. Mari has a particular style, which is unique. She has travelled extensively and painted the world around her, including places, houses, countryside. Her work reflects her travels.
This sale of pictures, as displayed in the catalogue below and cards of the first 12 pictures, relate to buildings in Finchley. Cards may be purchased for £10 per pack or £18 per two packs.
You can browse the artwork, including the cards, in St Mary’s Hall, 30 Hendon Lane, N3 1TR on Sunday 14 September 2025, with proceeds benefitting the Give Me Shelter! community project.
TO PURCHASE:
1. Identify the Artwork from THIS CATALOGUE by Mari I’Anson – refer to the number and title of the piece.
2. Submit your bid via churchwarden2@stmaryatfinchley.org.uk by 8pm on Sunday 14 September.
3. If successful, you will be asked to pay for and collect your artwork at a mutually convenient time.
4. Collection will be from St Mary-at-Finchley, 26 Hendon Lane N3 1TR.
Please note that cards will be available to purchase at £10 per pack or £18 per two packs only on Sunday 14 September 11.30am – 8.00pm.

Why not combine your visit to our Art Exhibition on Sunday 14 September with a Heritage Tour at 2pm, a Behind the Scenes talk at 4pm by the Lead Architect of our £1.3 million project (followed by drinks & nibbles) and Choral Evensong at 6pm? In the morning, we have our Patronal Festival at 10am with lunch served in the hall after the Eucharist – all are welcome!
