Join the ‘Bible from Memory’ challenge!
The challenge:
Memorise a short passage from the Bible that means something to you and help to raise funds for the St Mary-at-Finchley Church and Churchyard Project in the process by seeking sponsorship from friends and family. A Psalm? A parable? A few verses that resonate for you? The choice is yours!
Join us over coffee on Sunday 21st July in the chapel after the morning service to share with others your chosen verses (from memory!). Coffee will be served in church.
Or, if you prefer, you could record an audio or video file of you reciting your chosen passage. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and send the link, or send your audio file, to biblefrommemory@oxford-alumni.com
The fundraising:
Sponsorship forms are available as a pdf.
If you collect in cash, it is easiest for us if you pay this into your own bank account and then make a donation of the total through our credit/debit card option by using either the link below or by scanning the QR code. You could also give these links directly to your sponsors to make a donation while keeping a tally of your total.

If you would like to be added to our team fundraising page please email biblefrommemory@oxford-alumni.com so that we can send you an invitation link.
And afterwards:
Even if you are unable to be with us on 21st July, or feel now isn’t the right time for seeking sponsorship, perhaps you would like to complete the challenge anyway. You could give us a donation when you finish. We would love to hear about the passages or verses you have chosen to memorise. Do email us with details at biblefrommemory@oxford-alumni.com We would love to hear from you!
