St Mary’s Primary School was founded in 1812 and has served the people of Finchley ever since. We have strong links with our parish school: many of our young children go there and the parish clergy are frequent visitors. The Rector of St Mary-at-Finchley is an ex officio Governor of the school, along with the Vicar of St Paul’s Long Lane, the other founding parish. For more information about St Mary’s Primary School visit http://www.stmarysfinchley.co.uk/

The Wren Academy is a Secondary School, sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools, which opened in 2008 in North Finchley. Many children from St Mary’s Primary School go on to The Wren. Clergy of the Central Barnet Deanery (a network of local Church of England churches) go in to The Wren regularly to celebrate the Eucharist in the school chapel. More information about The Wren Academy can be found at http://www.wrenacademy.org/
